The amount of things I’ve had to go through to get here is as deep as my voice.

Named after the great Chuck Norris, and with a childhood nickname of Hercules, my deep, resonant, rich, goofy voice can be as cute as a cow, or as explosive as a starving bear awakening from hibernation. Based in the Bay Area with core values of self improvement, resiliency and integrity; I can be the boss, employee, close friend, mentor, or family member for your project. Resume

Son of farmers from Cambodia who fled the country during the Khmer Rouge Regime and immigrated to Oakland California, I was raised in a typical Asian immigrant family style. I never knew what I wanted to do in life so I just obeyed. I went to college, worked part time jobs to gain experience plus possibly find out what I wanted to do in life, and helped at my family's business. I was lost floating around through life and never really felt any satisfaction with what I was doing. Everyday I would think about what I should do for my future and I would often argue with my parents.

Although my upbringing was strict, I fondly remember sneaking around to watch late night anime and play video games with my brothers. This was the start of my huge love and passion for anime and video games that helped me get through the rough times. I was always so amazed at the amount of life, emotions, and range voice actors could bring to characters. I always thought being a voice actor seemed so fun and there was a lingering thought in my head that I wanted to pursue that, however due to my upbringing, the lack of self confidence and negative thinking would result in me always talking myself out of things before even trying them.

During the Covid 19 pandemic I had a large argument with my parents which led me to seek inspiration and motivation; I was inspired by Arnold Schwarzenegger, Muhammad Ali, Les Brown, and more. I went to the library where I rented "The Power of Self-Confidence" by Brian Tracy and "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie. These books changed my life and helped me to triumph over my low self confidence and to realize my goals and chase the dream I was always afraid to go for.

Since taking classes at Voice One in 2022 I am fortunate to have been taught and helped by many people in and out of the industry. I now possess the skills and abilities that I admired so much, and now I want to be the one that gives all those feelings, memories, and life back to the people of the world.

Outside of voice over I like to indulge in my hobbies such as cooking, gardening, studying Japanese, weightlifting, hiking, watching anime, playing games, housework, reading books, and babysitting my nephews.
